Sleeping Beauty

last nite bring jazzel home, quickly show her the new cutie fan we bought for her, she just starring at it, dunno she like it or not, but she enjoy the breeze am sure coz soon she sleepy le.

After changed her pyjamas, i decided to try the new "technique" to make her sleep.

1. Give her pacifier

2. Cover her ear with hanky

WOW..within 3 seconds, she closed her eyes and fell asleep le..Girl girl, mummy salute to you..tok kong man!

Again, am not able to wake up for the nite feed. Really feel am a lousy mummy, ben is always the one wake up to check whether jazzel is hungry.

He said: "dear, want to give milk or not? Formula or breastmilk"

Me(sleeping beauty mummy) : "ya, give formula" then back to sleep

Then after 130ml of formula, he said "i think not enough lei, she wants somemore, i go make"

Me still sleepy: har?! oh!" Continue to sleep

After feeding, he said "need to change diaper for her"

The guilty feeling starts to strike me, so i used up all my strengths to open my eyes big big..quicky go help him

Sorry dear dear, i really want to wake up but just cannot lei..luckily have you or else girl girl will always starve when go home..kekeke...

TGIF

yesterday was complaining to ben i got no time to blog..so many things about jazzel this week to blog, how ah??

he said "i will blog in this weekend dun worry, but last time i wrote one all missing liao."

I am like ???? Missing???

i said "its been archived liao mah, where got missing? One page only shows 7 post wat"
"Oh...i know liao, you tot i delete them ah?"

he said "yalor"

Pieng!! Not me not me lah..its been archived liao ku ku..dear dear, you really outdated man!

anyway, TGIF..am going to fetch jazzel back home le :)

bo car park?

yesterday the way home, i asked Ben "why you didn't drive to Woodlands?"

he said "no lah, difficult to find parking."

i said " har? got multi-storey car park wat!!!!"

he said "............."

pieng! Till now i still dun understand..bo car park???

Wen Chuan Earthquake

There were many touching stories from Wen Chuan earthquake. Everyday when i read the news, my heart is sanking deeper and deeper. Many people lost their home, family, the love ones. Many parents lost their only child and many children become orphan. Life is such unpredictable and we may lose everything just in seconds. I guess we should take a step back and reflect..sometimes we are too take things for granted. Are we appreciate what we have? Most of our life is to earn more money and there is always not enough...But what is enough? I start to realise to live happily with our love ones is the most contentable. For all the victims in the earthquake, wish they go peacefully and rest well in the arms of God..For those survivors, pray for them..

I read this story recently and it really touched my heart...a mother will sacrify everything just for her child...

抢救人员发现她的时候，她已经死了，是被垮塌下来的房子压死的，透过那一堆废墟 的的间隙可以看到她死亡的姿势， When rescuers found her, she was already dead, crushed by the collapsed house. Through gaps in the rubbles, they could see her posture. 双膝跪着，整个上身向前匍匐着，双手扶着地支撑着身体，有些象古人行跪拜礼，只 是身体被压的变形了，看上去有些诡异。 Kneeling on both knees, her entire upper body bent forward, held up by her two hands pressed against the ground, as if performing the ceremonial bow in an ancient ritual. Except, her body had been compressed out of shape and looked somewhat eerie. 救援人员从废墟的空隙伸手进去确认了她已经死亡，又在冲着废墟喊了几声，用撬棍 在在砖头上敲了几下，里面没有任何回应。 A rescuer extended his hand through a gap and confirmed her death. He came to her remain, labored to maneuver his hand under her body, searching. 他摸了几下高声的喊"有人，有个孩子 ，还活着"。 He called out following some rummaging, "There's someone, a child, still alive." 经过一番努力，人们小心的把挡着她的废墟清理开，在她的身体下面躺着她的孩 子，包在一个红色带黄花的小被子里，大概有3、4个月大， With some effort, rescuers carefully removed the debris burying her, found her child lying beneath her, bundled in a little red blanket decorated with yellow flower prints. He was about 3-4 months old. 因为母亲身体庇护着，他毫发未伤，抱出来的时候，他还安静的睡着，他熟睡的脸让 所有在场的人感到很温暖。 Shielded by his mother's body , he was totally unharmed, sleeping peacefully as he was brought out. His soundly asleep face warmed the hearts of all rescuers on the scene. 随行的医生过来解开被子准备做些检查，发现有一部手机塞在被子里，医生下意 识的看了下手机屏幕，发现屏幕上是一条已经写好的短信 As the rescue team's doctor unbundled the blanket to examine the baby, he discovered a mobile phone tucked into the blanket. He subconsciously looked at the display, found there was a SMS message. "亲爱的宝贝，如果你能活着，一定要记住我爱你"，看惯了生离死别的医生却在这一 刻落泪了，手机传递着，每个看到短信的人都落泪了。 "My Dear Baby, If you were to stay alive, you must remember that I love you." No stranger to the pain and sorrow brought by death, the doctor nonetheless wept at this moment. The cell phone was passed around, every person who read the message wept.

Like mother like daughter

this weekend bring jazzel back and found she has new habit again, every week she has something new for me..more and more interesting to have her with us :-)
Now she has to cover her face with pillow when sleeping..jialat, think she follow mummy's style liao, like mother like daughter(有其母必有其女）..but girl girl, mummy 是有练过的! expert liao so will not get suffocated..you still young lei, dun do like that lei..daddy also very scared, you will make him like kancheong spider lah..but i am amazed by the speed jazzel fall into asleep..just give her pacifier, cover her face with pillow, within 1 min she sleep liao...shhhhh

and now she is practicing how to flip with daddy

trying hard to lift up my head..aiiiiyyy...

eeeeiiiyaaaa..finally!

aiyoh...too heavy liao, cannot balance~~

come on, daddy help you..

Family Day

Saturday was Singapore Nation Family Day, so we went dinner at Soup Restaurant with PILs. This is the first time bring jazzel out with PILs. The moment we reached United Square, Jazzel poo poo..pieng! Quickly search for baby room..very impressive by the baby room, they have few diaper changing tables and rooms for nursing, very cozy enviroment.

finally can settle down to have our dinner..i dun really can taste the food coz need to eat fast and pat jazzel to sleep at the same time..think next time i can join those eating fast contest, sure win one :p

We went to the 胎毛笔(TaiMaoBi) shop after dinner coz decided to shave jazzel when she turns 4 months..the shop owner said jazzel's hair volume can only do up small Chinese brush :S The price range of the brush from $38- $1000++... Girl Girl, mummy really cannot imagine how you look when turn botak! But daddy said must shave then your hair will grow beatifully wor..so no choice lor..Girl girl, you have to prepare hor, coz daddy n mummy going to shave your eyebrows too..and cut your eye lashes..hmm..still dunno either daddy or mummy will dare to cut your eyelashes, think we will play scissors paper stone to decide..but mummy sure win one coz daddy really lousy at this game :p
