1 portion of fruit a day!

Been very very busy with work on weekdays, rushing to see girl girl, weekends busy looking after girl girl...bla bla bla..so many ppl been asking why i didn't update my blog..ya ya..am under pressures so will catch up with more stories okie!

Since we started solid for girl girl, she been eating well (at least at the nanny's place), eating different kind of food (porridge, bread, cake, chee chiong fun...) *ya i know not suppose to give her so many to try, but she wants lei, how to resist her??* The nanny also give her 1 portion of fruit everyday..apple, orange, papaya, banana, strawberry..ya ya ya, i know cannot like that, but again how to resist her when she cried for food??

Dream comes true

Finally the day for me and dear dear to collect our house key. We have been waiting for this day to come, although many friend told me "so fast you got the key liao hor"..but to me it really soooooo long lor..However, just think back how we started to look for house, view house every sunday (more than 50 houses we viewed i think and also during my maternity leave time :p) until we really got the key. Thanks be to god, you heard my prayer.

We are considered quite lucky to have a nice agent, Becky Lim. She is very helpful, well prepared, friendly, not pushy..and the ex-owner is very kind as well. They have cleaned the house after moving out and also washed all the curtains and leave them to me. What else can I say, lucky hor..

Next headache is renovation, get new furnitures, etc...but again..I have my bro-in-law to do the drawing for me (somemore its FREE!), sis help to coordinate, they will also get contractor to give me good price...then bro-in laws going to bring me to choose lighting, furnitures which will have more discounts..What else can I say...lucky hor..

Now my heart is full of excitement, can't wait to move to our new house...Home sweet home for dear dear, me and jazzle...

Toys can be simple

I guess really no need to spend so much money to buy different toys for girl girl..basically she is not interested at toys..Maybe mummy can forget about getting Leapfrog toys anymore..Girl girl more interested to play "toy" such as tear the tissue paper into small small pieces, play with plastic container, plastic bag, bottle....and yesterday she was concentrating playing gor gor's book mark for 10-15 minutes. Then she just not interested anymore. Think all kids are like that, 喜新厌旧...if like that also not bad, can save lots of $$$

Reunion

This is what I have pasted at dd computer this morning...girl girl and me didn't see dd for past few days..nobody nag nag nag at us...HAhaahaaaa..


after 4 days of night shift work, dd told me he has transformed from superman to batman..i think he means this.

yesterday was back home after staying 1 nite at sis's place...feel something missing staying alone. So finding something to do to occupy my time..start with trimming my eyebrows, facial, pedicure..wow..sound like a tai tai rite!
Suddenly, i found a CREATURE crawling on the wall...ahhhhhhhhh..COCKROACH!!! Since I am alone, i have to kill it myself..( i think my mum will be surprise till faint that i can kill a cockroach)..I made a paper ball to throw at the monster at the ceiling, had a few tried then hit it..When it dropped on the floor, i just too scared, nervous, kancheong..tried to use "a stack" of tissues to catch it..YES, you can scold me not environmental friendy to use whole stack of tissue to kill one cockroach..But i really not that brave can use bare hand lor..Since am too nervous, of coz i missed it..the monster just run away so quickly and i cannot find it!!! I know sure i cannot sleep if i cannot find it. And lucky star is on my side (recently been quite lucky, dunno why..maybe birthday coming!!!), i found it near the bed. So this time i just roll up newspaper (which I have not get a chance to read) to snap on it..BINGO! I kill it!
Finally can sleep well without worried the monster will climb up my bed middle of nite.
